Happy Thanksgiving

From JenCad, our fabulous PR maven in Austin, TX, a reminder to be thankful for our friends this Thanksgiving...!

No, this isn't a tribute to John McCain... but it is about banding
together to support each other in times of need. While my pains are at
best trivial against the backdrop of everything that is happening around
the world, it is times like these that tend to amplify all of the little
things that trouble us as we lug ourselves from one day to the next. A
recent hiccup in my own universe reminded me of the weight the word
"friend" really carries.

Whether it's someone across the table or on the line, a supportive family
network, or a new president promising change and providing hope to a
bewildered country, just knowing you aren't alone is a comfort beyond
measure.

Encompassing no more than four far-from-profound lines total, Groove
Armada's "My Friend" points out the obvious (and sucks you into a trance
with an inescapable baseline). We all need people to lean on.

In times that can feel overwhelming and a climate that might make you feel
miniscule and helpless, don't underestimate the power you have to make a
difference in someone's life by just being present.
