Good Times Roll, Part 2

RJD2 Re-Do.


RJD2's fame exploded in 2007 because of a little song called "A Beautiful Mine" that became the theme song for a little TV show called Mad Men.

But with fame comes the chance to go back and a have a bit of a re-do. That's happening all this month with the re-release of "Ramble John Krohn's" first 3 proper records, originally released in 2002-2004. All three have been remastered and contain bonus tracks but the standout (IMHO) is his 2002 debut for Definitive Jux Records. It's one of the most creative Hip-Hop records of the last decade... and it appeals to people like me, who swear they don't care that much for Hip-Hop.

The DJ/Producer/Artist proves he's got it all going on with this standout track, a dusty groove that sits nicely next to any old school soul or funk classic.

Come on now, scratch your way into the weekend...
