Can You Say Scathing?


Sometimes Song of The Day just hits me over the head. Like this morning.

Vanity Fair just posted Levy Johnston's tell all "I wrote it myself" article about life on the campaign trail with Sarah Palin as the the father of her pregnant unwed daughter's baby. Yowser. This is some serious juice. You can read it all Here! but suffice it to say that one song leaped into my brain.

Well actually one song; three versions: "Knocked Up" by Kings of Leon and it's better reinterpretation/remix by the fabulous Lykke Li and a video of Lykke performing it live with red hot Miike Snow.

A tale as old as time itself!

I love the Kings rural, blue collar feel of the original song but I adore Lykke's urban, cool, pleading, dance version. Maybe these are really he said-she said interpretations. Pick your favorite...
