Pull My Heart Away

Must Be A Sign, It Is Time!


Jack Penate's second  album came out on Tuesday and it's opening track is proving good fodder for the task at hand:

"I stop when I hear a drum beat call
Must be a sign, it is time
I need to take myself away
From the pillowed hand
On which I stand
And throw me out of the side of a plane
And I'll just see where I land"



We've been so deliriously caught up in the day to day joys of putting out Song Of The Day that we have neglected some of our bigger objectives here at The MusicFile. The dog days of summer seem like the right time to take a little break from the daily grind, take stock of where we are, clear our heads and begin to put some meat on many of the other ideas we've been kicking around over the past year.
