Elizabeth & The Catapult : Taller Children

In The End We're All Just Taller Children.
What Ingrid Michaelson was to 2007, Elizabeth Ziman is to 2009. Only bigger. And broader in scope. A blend of Ingrid, Regina Specktor with a bit of St. Vincent and a few jazz legends thrown in. A sort of female melting pot for the urban coffee house crowd. Expect to hear her on NPR and playing at cool small clubs all summer long.
The title track is a song that you find yourself singing at the top of your lungs;it's an indictment of the childish, selfish behavior of Wall Street and a money obsessed culture; giving some very timely backbone to the line:
"if you don't slow down, what's the point of winning
if you can't let go, you just keep on spinning"
