I'm So Tired Of The Same Old Crud. Sweet Baby, I Need Fresh Blood!


Eels Hombre Lobo finally came out yesterday and NOW, I officially feel like summer has begun. The album, which means "Werewolf" is subtitled 12 Songs Of Desire and my oh my, that is an apt description. Although there are far softer, sweeter songs on Hombre Lobo, it is this track that is stuck on replay. Man, I can feel the wolf's hunger!

If my Eels rallying cry from 2005's Bright Lights and Blinking Revelations was "I'm Tired of the Old Shit, Let The New Shit Begin", be forewarned- THIS just might be my rallying cry for 2009.

Oh, the sheer Souljacker-ness of it.
